Why it makes a good gift
Best for : A Minecraft player of 7 or older who would like to see the game's chicken farm in bricks.
Best occasion : A birthday or Christmas gift for a young gamer, at a modest price.
Why it works : The giant chicken coop has working details, with eggs laid at the back and seed dispensed from the beak, and the set pairs them with a fox and a baby zombie to act out the game's farm defense. About $16 for 233 pieces keeps it a light gift.
