Why it makes a good gift
Best for : A KPop Demon Hunters fan aged 6 and up who has seen the film and knows the group
Best occasion : A birthday, Christmas
Why it works : A doll based on a movie character works best for a child who already knows the story, and Zoey is easy to spot by her up-do, stage outfit and Spirit Blades. The other group members are sold separately, so a second doll can be the next gift. Rated 4.8 across more than 1,000 reviews, at about $27.
Avoid if : The child does not know KPop Demon Hunters or prefers another character, since each doll is sold separately. She cannot stand alone, which matters if the doll is meant for display.
