Why it makes a good gift
Best for : A Toy Story fan of any age who wants a soft character to hug rather than a figure to pose
Best occasion : A child's birthday, a Christmas stocking or tree gift, a Toy Story movie night
Why it works : A plush Woody gives a Toy Story fan the cowboy as something to cuddle: the jeans, checkered shirt, hat and badge are all there, and the embroidered eyes keep the face soft. It is an official Disney Store item rated 4.8 across 4,772 reviews, at roughly $30.
Avoid if : The child already has a talking Woody and wants something new, or the gift is for a baby's crib: read the age guidance on the listing first.
