Why it makes a good gift
Best for : A coworker who carries coffee from home every morning or refills iced coffee all afternoon.
Best occasion : Office holiday exchange, a new teammate's first week, a thank-you after a big project.
Why it works : Owala is the drinkware brand people already covet, and a leak-proof coffee tumbler gets used on every commute, so it is one of the few coworker gifts that is both trendy and safe for anyone on the team.
Avoid if : The person only drinks from a mug at their desk: a sliding spout is for carrying.
Workplace fit : A safe office gift: neutral, shareable, nothing personal about it.
