Why it makes a good gift
Best for : A DC collector who already owns McFarlane's 7-inch figures and wants a vehicle for them, or a Batman Beyond fan.
Best occasion : A birthday or Christmas.
Why it works : A vehicle is the piece a figure collector rarely buys for himself, and this one adds lights, sound, a stand and a collector's art card. About 280 reviews at 4.8 stars, at about $90.
Avoid if : The recipient does not collect 7-inch figures: Batman is not included and the batteries are not either. It is a display piece, not a play set for young kids.
