✓ Product data checked October 23, 2026
Hoot Howl Halloween is a board book from Cottage Door Press that walks toddlers through a haunted house. Ten buttons on the side play the sounds of the story: ghosts wailing, witches cackling, bats flapping and bones jangling. The sturdy board pages are shaped to be easy to turn for small hands, and the book invites the child to press the right button as each page unfolds. As a gift it gives a little one their own piece of Halloween without anything truly frightening, and it fits in a trick-or-treat basket. Rated 4.8 across more than 3,000 reviews, around $12.
